Survey: Small practices get more serious about EMR adoption

A NaviNet survey of small physician practices revealed that 17% plan to adopt electronic medical records by the end of next year and 53% said their information-technology decisions were driven by CMS requirements. However, the survey also found that 63% remain unsure or unaware about certain meaningful-use reporting measures.
