Baseball fields near Yankee Stadium remain undone

Heritage Field, a portion of a parkland redevelopment project in the Bronx near the new Yankee Stadium, is still unfinished due to various delays involved in its construction. Critics are faulting authorities for the delays encountered in building the three baseball fields that should have been completed in 2010. City officials explained that building delays were caused by stadium dismantling restrictions, subway lines affected by the construction, inclement winter weather and cost overruns.
