Executives from Coca-Cola, Fairtrade and Unilever have joined forces to call for a greater degree of collaboration on environmental initiatives between corporations and nonprofit groups. It will take a unified effort to make eco-friendly branding "cool" and therefore self-sustaining, the leaders said. "We have to take responsibility for making the sustainability message more appealing, but Unilever alone can't fix climate change -- there has to be collaboration," added Thomas Lingard, Unilever chief of external affairs.
