Passengers may be able to self-tag bags at L.A.-area airports

Airline passengers soon may be able to print out their own luggage tags at Los Angeles International Airport. American Airlines and Alaska Airlines plan to introduce self-tagging for bags by the end of the year. Alaska also plans to roll out the technology at Ontario International Airport.
