Guidance on communication regarding medtech regulatory changes issued

The FDA's device center has issued guidelines on how it intends to notify companies of immediate changes in medical device regulatory expectations that could affect pending applications. One of the goals of the new process is to allow manufacturers to more quickly learn of modifications rather than wait until a regulatory decision is made.
