Board approves Jets' bid to build stadium on Hudson Rail Yards

New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Authority has voted in favor of the New York Jets in their effort to build a new stadium and other properties on the Hudson Rail Yards site, which the MTA owns. The proposal won approval when the Jets increased their original $100 million proposal by bringing in a variety of other developers to include a theater, museum and retail space.
