D.C. names architect for new stadium, releases cost analysis

The District of Columbia is moving ahead on a new baseball stadium complex by settling on Kansas City, Mo.-based HOK Sport, a division of Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum, as lead architect on the project and releasing a cost analysis that proposes a price increase of as much as $46 million. That puts the price for the entire one million square-foot project at $581 million.
