Rising prices at pump cause gas tax efforts to stall

Rising gas prices are causing a number of road projects dependent on gas taxes to lose steam. Proposals in Nevada and Indiana to increase gas taxes were rejected the very day they were made. Other projects are struggling and lawmakers in Wisconsin are considering repealing a 0.8-cent gas tax that recently passed.
