Miami International Airport moves ahead with mile-long terminal

The Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners has approved an additional $772 million for the airport's new 3.4 million square-foot, 49-gate North Terminal project. The approval brings the price tag for the mile-long terminal up to $2.86 billion, and officials say it will help end long delays for the airport's capital improvement program.
