Commentary: IMF plan to spread cash worldwide is bad for U.S.

The Group of 20 leaders who will meet Thursday in London are trying to find a way to kick-start the global economy, and the International Monetary Fund has a plan that it thinks will help. The plan involves an increase in "special drawing rights." According to this Wall Street Journal article, there are better ways for Americans to give to the neediest, worthiest nations. "... to simply blanket the world with conjured dollars and ask already-stretched American taxpayers to pay for it is bad economic policy and even worse governance," according to the article.
