Permeable concrete allows stormwater drainage

San Jose contractor Robert Bothman extols the virtues of pervious, or permeable, concrete to his environmentally conscious clients. StonyCrete costs 10% to 30% more than regular concrete, but it allows stormwater runoff to drain through the permeable surface. The product has been widely used in Europe and in some parts of the southeastern U.S.
