3rd-graders ask lawmakers for healthier school lunches

Third-grade students at Lee Elementary School in Columbia, Mo., wrote to lawmakers, telling them they wanted healthier, fresh food instead of prepackaged and frozen products for their school lunches. The letters, promoted by Slow Food USA, asked lawmakers to increase funding for the Child Nutrition Act.
