American, BA indicate grudging acceptance of Heathrow divestiture

Airlines in the Oneworld alliance told U.S. regulators this week that forcing them to give up airport slots in exchange for an antitrust waiver is unfair -- but they will do so if they must. American Airlines and British Airways said they would give up four slot pairs at London Heathrow if the U.S. requirement coincides with a separate finding by the European Commission.
