Canada allots funding for new technologies in isotope production

The Canadian government said it will allot $45 million from its 2010 budget for research and development of new technologies that can be used in medical isotope production. The government also said it is planning to set up a clinical trials network and explore ways to improve the use of isotopes in health care.
