Equine-dentistry bill clears Oklahoma Senate

The Oklahoma Senate approved a bill Wednesday that would allow nonveterinarians to practice equine dentistry in the state, provided they obtain certification from the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. The Senate made a few changes to the measure, including requiring the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics to regulate narcotic drugs.
