IOM: U.S. should improve health care for veterans

An Institute of Medicine report said the U.S. should improve physical and mental health services for veterans who serve in Iraq and Afghanistan and extend extra aid to their families and communities. The report said the government should study veterans' readjustment needs, prepare for their long-term care needs and recruit more mental health professionals.
