Say yes to 3 questions before accepting a request

Executives who are struggling to carve productive work time out of a schedule heavy on superfluous meetings and unnecessary e-mails should ask themselves three questions before agreeing to a request, writes consultant Peter Bregman. If you can't answer "yes" to "Am I the right person?," "Is this the right time?" and Do I have enough information?," the best course is to pass the task to another team member, reschedule it or gather more information, he suggests.
