$400M redevelopment of an aircraft-engine plant in N.J. takes off

A $400 million redevelopment project at the site of the old Curtiss-Wright aircraft-engine plant in Wood-Ridge, N.J., has shown signs of progress with the groundbreaking ceremony of two apartment buildings last month after nine years of planning. The apartment buildings are part of the Westmont Station project that is slated to contain various types of housing, a retail plaza, parks, playing fields and a public school.
