Biden reveals potential breakthrough in budget talks

House and Senate leaders are working on a compromise on spending cuts in the face of a possible government shutdown on April 8. Vice President Joe Biden said budget negotiations have taken a positive turn as the figure of $33 billion in cuts in the fiscal 2011 budget has been put forward, although House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, denied that an amount has been agreed upon.
