Discount still matters, but private label loses some pull

According to a SymphonyIRI Group survey, 56% of shoppers read store fliers either before they shop or at the store, a number that has not changed since 2010. However, fewer shoppers are opting for private-label products, with 36% saying they are buying such items to save money, compared with 44% in 2010.
