Pennsylvania proposal would make certain TSA searches a crime

Pennsylvania this week became the latest state to consider legislation that, if passed, would criminalize some airport pat-downs. The bill, proposed by state Rep. Will Tallman, is aimed at addressing concerns of unconstitutional invasions of privacy and indecent assault and would make contact with any person's genitals or breasts during an airport body search a crime. Tallman has also proposed a bill that would petition Congress to require the Transportation Security Administration to address the way it screens travelers.
