Washington, D.C., is getting visits from technology executives as they try to keep up with changes at the Federal Trade Commission, which has a new leader, and the Federal Communications Commission, which is set to get one as well, according to The Economist. "Silicon Valley has long tried to keep Washington, DC, at arm's length," the magazine notes. "... They don't expect to be left alone -- who does? But they wouldn't mind being regulated with a light touch."
