Changes by GASB, Moody's en route for pension plan executives

Public pension managers are facing two significant changes in the near term. The new Governmental Accounting Standards Board financial reporting rules go into effect in June. Also, this month, Moody's Investors Service will start using a calculation in which pension debt is highlighted in state and local governments' ratings.
