Interactive map depicts energy usage in Los Angeles

Creators of an interactive map say it's the first of its kind to depict electricity usage in Los Angeles, allowing users to compare neighborhoods' energy usage. The California Center for Sustainable Communities at the University of California-Los Angeles created the map, which combines energy usage with other census data, including building age and average income.
