Study: Women excel at business leadership

Women make better business leaders than men do, research suggests. Women are more willing to challenge the status quo and "to use cooperation, collaboration and consensus-building," according to the study, by A.T. Still University in Arizona and McMaster University in Canada. "Our findings show that having women on the board is no longer just the right thing, but also the smart thing to do," said Chris Bart, a professor at McMaster University. "Companies with few female directors may actually be shortchanging their investors."
