Using the business social network effectively means assiduous segmentation and making a slow, cautious approach to prospects in order to build up credibility before a content-marketing campaign. Avoid paid campaigns unless it's absolutely necessary, and even then only after you've seeded the network. And remember to "message unto others" as you would have them message you, avoiding irrelevant spam to strangers.
