YouTube broadens games integration with API release

YouTube has released new APIs that it says will allow game developers to deliver live video to the streaming platform via a PC or mobile device. The system, which has been available in a limited format for games including Call of Duty: Black Ops II, will provide advertising opportunities for content creators by creating breaks in video streams, officials say.
