Measles cases in Calif. climb to 49

The California Department of Public Health on Friday confirmed 49 cases of measles across the state so far this year, compared with four cases at this time in 2013. Among the eight counties affected by the outbreak, Orange County had the highest number of measles cases at 21, followed by Los Angeles County at 10. "This dramatic jump in the number of measles cases is a reminder to get fully vaccinated," health department director Ron Chapman said.
