Social media is often associated with real-time marketing trends, but 45% of marketing professionals say interaction through websites is also vital, according to an Evergage survey. E-mail, call centers and online displays were also cited as important channels for engaging consumers through real-time marketing. One-third said real-time marketing was an extremely important marketing initiative for 2014.
