Cablevision Still In Dugout As Baseball Tosses First Pitch

About three million New York-area Cablevision subscribers yesterday were shut out of watching the Yankees play the Orioles because Cablevision still hasn't reached a carriage deal with Yankees Entertainment and Sports network. Cablevision president James L. Dolan and YES chairman Leo J. Hindery Jr. yesterday met at YES' headquarters, but the talks went nowhere, reports say. Cablevision refuses to carry YES on its basic tier.
