Criticism against 180solutions' adware is growing

180solutions, which received $40 million in fresh venture capital this week, is facing growing criticism from consumers for its "n-Case" or, in its latest iteration, "Zango," software, which tracks Web sites people visit and sends targeted pop-up ads. Critics say users are often unaware they're downloading 180solutions' so-called adware when they're getting other free software, and that it can be very difficult to remove.
