Women travelers are increasingly going solo

With the number of single women age 35 and older now up to 28 million, the market of women traveling alone is rapidly carving its own niche, and tour companies are responding. Companies such as Adventure Wench, Menopausal Tours and the Women's Travel Club are booking tours catering specifically to women, and others, such as Women Traveling Together offer trips such as a tour to Lake Tahoe titled "How to Attract the Life of Your Dreams."
