Mass. transportation system faces $20 billion shortfall

The state's transportation program is expected to lose up to $20 billion over the next 20 years, according to a new Transportation Finance Commission report. Gov. Deval Patrick has yet to lend his support to measures to cut revenue losses, such as increases in the gasoline tax and tolls.
