Baltimore mayor to plant vegetable garden at City Hall

Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon plans to transform the gardens at City Hall into a 2,000-square-foot vegetable garden. The garden will outdo the White House garden by 900 square feet and will feature kale, Swiss chard and other vegetables. "We have a chance to lead by example and to inspire residents, to show that in an urban environment you can still maintain healthy eating," said the mayor.
