Downturn in global travel dims City of Lights

Even the world's most visited city -- Paris -- is feeling the pinch from the global downturn in travel. At the city's airports, international passenger arrivals declined 8.1% in February compared with the same month the previous year. Hotel occupancy rates are down 10%. The hotel industry says "it's a catastrophe," while shop owners are desperately rearranging souvenirs to entice the tourists who do make the trip.
