Despite heat issue, Consumer Reports loves the iPad; buyers agree

Consumer Reports gives the new iPad a rave review despite being the first publication to report that the tablet's temperatures run high if the device is used for prolonged periods of graphics-intense game play. The magazine also cited Verizon's 4G network for delivering "very fast, dependable connectivity" on the iPad. Users agree: In a survey from the ChangeWave research firm, 82% of the owners expressed high satisfaction with their purchases, with many welcoming the tablet's Retina display.
