Experts ID gene that may hold promise for diabetes

A study in Nature found the ChREBP gene helped turn glucose into fatty acids and improved insulin sensitivity in obese mice. The findings may lead to the development of new treatments to address diabetes and other metabolic conditions, researchers said.
