Experts ID genes that may lead to childhood obesity

Indian researchers found that the IL6, LEPR and PBEF1 genes, which differ from obesity-predisposing genes found in Europeans, were associated with chronic inflammation in young children that results in childhood obesity, according to a study in Diabetes.
