Study finds immersion is a better way to learn a language

Researchers at Georgetown University Medical Center tested two groups of adults to see how learning a foreign language would affect their brain activity. One group received instruction in a classroom, while the other learned through immersion. Neuroscientists found that those in the immersion setting displayed brain functions more closely resembling those of native speakers.
