Best Buy calls off placing Geek Squad agents at 29 Target stores

A six-month experiment in using Best Buy's Geek Squad staffers at 29 Target stores in Denver and Minneapolis has come to an end, the retailers report. Best Buy spokesman Matt Furman said in a statement, "As part of our ongoing ... transformation efforts we have been very clear that we are focused on the company's core business, including the Geek Squad opportunity with Best Buy's own customers."
