BNSF, KCS projects help Kansas City area grow as logistics hub

Projects by BNSF and Kansas City Southern are among the developments helping attract national companies to the Kansas City area of Missouri and Kansas as a distribution center. BNSF is at work on a $250 million intermodal facility that includes a logistics park. And KCS is at work on its CenterPoint-Kansas City Southern Intermodal Center at the former Richards-Gebaur Airport.
