DOD, states looks to hire vets as cybersecurity experts

Service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are being sought for cybersecurity positions at the Pentagon and state governments. Observers say veterans are prime candidates to work in cybersecurity because they already have security clearances and are familiar with military life. "But more importantly, unemployment among young vets is spiking, especially now with sequestration," said Alan Paller, who directs a cybersecurity training center.
