Quaker Oats invites consumers to share in mobile campaign

Quaker Oats is engaging consumers by asking them to share their family adventures with others on a mobile-optimized site via an ad campaign on Us Magazine's mobile page. This type of "organic advertising" can be highly effective, said Shuli Lowy, marketing director at Ping Mobile. "When your friend or relative messages you about a great product, you know that the person was so elated with the purchase that he/she couldn't help but pass on the recommendation," Lowy said.
