Retailers bullish on growth, engagement power of mobile apps

Eighty-four percent of retailers expect the pace of mobile growth to be faster than e-commerce proved to be, according to an Artisan survey. More than half of the retailers say they are putting more money into mobile applications and 71% expect their native mobile apps to be "the strongest touchpoint for engaging consumers in the next one to three years," Steve Smith writes.
