The vast majority of workers in the U.S. and Canada report increased stress in the workplace since the recession began, according to a survey from Right Management. Seventy-four percent strongly felt their jobs were more stressful, while 18% reported being somewhat more stressed. The findings aren't unexpected, said Right Management Senior Vice President Monika Morrow, due to the cutbacks that many companies faced in the past five years. "What management must do is acknowledge the heavier burdens and make efforts to have them shared fairly," she said.
