Benefits of aspirin vary among colon cancer patients, study indicates

A study involving 999 colon cancer patients in the Netherlands found that those who took low-dose aspirin after diagnosis showed better survival rates than those who didn't take the drug. The rate of survival was particularly higher among patients whose tumors expressed the HLA class I antigen, researchers noted.
