EU widens approval for Sorin's sutureless aortic valve

Sorin has earned the CE mark in Europe to expand the use of its Perceval system, a sutureless aortic valve designed to treat aortic stenosis or steno-insufficiency disease. The device, which previously was approved for use in patients older than 65, can now be used for adult patients with aortic stenosis or steno-insufficiency disease.
