Audio books for children draw educators' interest

Educators and children's librarians are closely watching newly launched AudibleKids site, which offers more than 4,000 downloadable children's audio books, priced from $1.99. "It's particularly good for kids who are struggling to read, who aren't reading at grade level," said Elliott Battzedek of the Children's Literacy Initiative. "Our comprehension of spoken language comes well before reading."
