New green complex in Raleigh to boast eco-friendly measures

Three buildings in Raleigh, N.C., are being demolished to make way for the estimated $104 million Green Square complex, which will, among other eco-friendly measures, incorporate rubble from the demolished existing buildings in the foundations for two new buildings. One of the new buildings, the $53 million Nature Research Center, will include a green roof to absorb storm water.
