Paulson asks China to pull tariffs on clean technology

At the end of his two-day meeting in China, U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson encouraged Beijing to drop tariffs on clean technology. Heavy industry, which has fueled the China's robust growth, has polluted country's air, rivers and soil, and Paulson argued that trade barriers are thwarting cleanup efforts.
